Modern Twi'lek Culture: Clothing and Make-up
Traditionally all twi'leks wore hooded cloaks, almost identical to the cloaks worn by the Jedi. What made them stand out; was the gemstone belts. That fit around the waist and the longer side hangs down almost touching the floor.
Males clothing depended on who they were and what they did for a living. Only on formal occasions did they break the mould and wear something new. Males hardly wore any type of headgear. It was only the hunt

Modern Twi'lek Culture: Slavery
Slavery is huge on Ryloth. It's deeply imbedded in twi'lek culture. But I don't think anyone realises it's a natural practice. Only a few people have protested against it. | I've had a creative imagination and a love for writing since I was 8/9 years old. The first story I wrote was a fairytale called The Princess and the Fairy, while I was in my first year of secondary school (Yr 7). My first ever poem was about love. Later on when I had left school I made bigger steps. I wrote a poetry series known as The Sisterhood of the Seasons, entered a BBC End of Story competetion, entered an online poem competetion, entered another competetion at a course and wrote a novel called The Zodiac Legacy. Out of those competetions I only won one...with my short story poem; Serenity's Song. Eh...that is...I came in second. But I still got a prize; two WHsmiths vouchers. |
